The 2025 Audi Q4 e-tron is a premium EV crossover that stands out from other vehicles in its class with its sophisticated styling and exceptional engineering. The Q4 Sportback e-tron is a sportier version of the Q4 e-tron. How do these models compare in important areas?

Performance

The 2025 Q4 e-tron is available in two versions: the 45 and the 55. The 45 has a single electric motor that drives the rear wheels and generates 282 horsepower. The 55 adds a second motor to produce 335 horsepower. It has all-wheel drive. The Q4 e-tron Sportback is only available with the 55 setup. It also offers a sport-tuned suspension and upgraded chassis.

Appearance

The primary difference between the Q4 e-tron and the Q4 Sportback e-tron is their styling. The Q4 e-tron has a tall profile with an upright liftgate. The Sportback has a strongly raked roof with a hatchback-style liftgate. Both of these popular EVs have a distinguished front-end design and athletic accentuation running along the lower door panels. The grille has a fascinating mesh pattern with a thick, metallic surround. A chrome element also underscores the bumper. The angled headlights boast four small LED bars bisected by a longer LED bar. Both models have a heated windshield, up to 21-inch wheels, headlight washers, and a hands-free power liftgate.

Features

Both the 2025 Q4 e-tron and the Q4 Sportback e-tron are outfitted with similar features on a trim-by-trim basis. The entry-level trim comes with heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a three-zone auto climate control system, a digital instrument panel, an 11.6-inch touch display screen, wireless smartphone app connections, a navigation system, leather upholstery, forward collision mitigation, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and other features.
